Beverly Enterprises’ income fell 82% to $3.58 million for the third quarter. The Pasadena-based company, which operates nursing facilities, pharmacies, retirement living projects and home health agencies, blamed the results on a declining number of patients and on increased costs due to higher wages and payroll costs. Revenue was up about 1% to $533.8 million.
