Monterey Park : Interim City Manager

The City Council has appointed David Bentz, director of management services, to serve as interim city manager after Lloyd de Llamas steps down Oct. 30.
De Llamas, who served as city manager for 11 years, resigned to enter private business in May but has remained city manager on a part-time basis since then. De Llamas notified the City Council last week that he intends to terminate his contract as interim city manager.
