Hermosa Beach : City Candidate Forum Set

Candidates in municipal elections next month will appear at a candidates’ forum from 7 to 9:30 tonight.
City Council candidates Roger Creighton, incumbent Tony DeBellis, Michael Neiman and Chuck Sheldon will make a presentation and then be questioned by the public and a media panel.
City Treasurer candidates Gary L. Brutsch, Elaine C. Doerfling and Sandra I. Hughes also will make presentations. City Clerk Kathleen Midstokke, who is unopposed for a second four-year term, will not attend.
The forum, which is sponsored by the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce, is free to the public and will be held at the Kiwanis Clubhouse, 2515 Valley Drive. The moderator will be former City Manager Gregory T. Meyer.
