TV superstar Bill Cosby and actor Robert Hooks will be teaming up as co-executive producers of a major network miniseries about the life of writer Langston Hughes. Based on the biography by Arnold Rampersad, the New World Television project will explore the black experience in this country and abroad from 1900 to 1950. The program is scheduled to begin filming early next year, for the 1988-89 television season.
