Hammer’s Help

The recent release from the Soviet Union of Ida Nudel, a well-known refusenik, has gladdened my heart and filled with joy many others who had been praying and been active on her behalf. But none other than Dr. Armand Hammer, chairman of Occidental Petroleum Corp., deserves unlimited praise for working on this release by using his amazing power of persuasion. My hat is off to this man who has helped countless people throughout the years. His humanitarian deeds will always be remembered by all those who seek peace and justice.
