Christian Defeats St. Augustine, 34-8

Christian High School defeated St. Augustine, 34-8, in a City Central League football game played at Valley Stadium Saturday night. Christian (3-3, 1-0) scored 27 points in the first half. St. Augustine is 3-3, 0-1.
In a nonleague game played at Granite Hills, El Cajon Valley (4-2) defeated IMT (Tijuana), 30-6. Henry Negrete kicked a 51-yard field goal and caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jim Dutra for El Cajon Valley.
