Homecoming Today for CS Long Beach

After four straight road games, Cal State Long Beach’s football team will return to Veterans Stadium for Homecoming today.
The 49ers play New Mexico State in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. game at 1 p.m.
Long Beach, 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the PCAA, made only seven first downs but snapped a three-game losing streak last Saturday with a 9-6 victory over University of the Pacific at Stockton.
New Mexico State, coming off a 57-6 loss to San Jose State, is 1-4 and 0-2.
