Rhetoric Heats Up Over Judge Bork

The Bork nomination came in on a right wing and a prayer and is going out with a spate of bitter invective and mean-spirited recriminations. What will follow, one might expect, will be an escalation of the bloodshed in the Persian Gulf and in Central America so that all “good and true” Americans can again stand tall.
Let’s hope the bull elephant doesn’t run wild.
