Rhetoric Heats Up Over Judge Bork
What a terrific object lesson for America’s youth . . . a scholastic and intellectual “super-star” run-to-earth by the unwashed Senate-media mob, who, in turn, were misled by two very visible and voluble senators. These men were cheaters in college and their subsequent life styles have been less than august.
I listened to most of the confirmation hearings, and all that was missing was the shadow of Robespierre lurking in the gallery.
Hang in there, Robert Bork. Americans still have a taste for excellence--they just need to recognize it.
