MINNEAPOLIS — First baseman Jack Clark, the injured St. Louis slugger, was dropped from the Cardinals’ World Series roster today. Manager Whitey Herzog said relief pitcher Lee Tunnell would replace Clark on the 24-player roster. Clark has not been in the starting lineup since Sept. 9 because of an ankle injury. He made one appearance in the National League playoffs, striking out as a pinch-hitter.
