Nation Education Corp. Income Reaches a Record

National Education Corp. said its third quarter net income climbed 35% to a record $5.8 million from $4.3 million a year earlier.
Revenues for the three months rose to $77 million, up 7% from $72 million in the year earlier.
Net income for the first nine months of 1987 was $11.5 million, a 31% increase from the year-earlier $8.8 million. Revenues increased 23% to $216 million, from $175 million.
National Education announced last week that its Deltak job training subsidiary will grow to a $180-million-a-year company upon completion of a planned merger of Advanced Systems, which reported $63 million in sales in 1986.
