BRUSSELS — Visiting East German leader Erich Honecker met Belgian Prime Minister Wilfried Martens on Wednesday for talks that were expected to focus on boosting economic ties and East-West relations, officials said.
The discussions are the centerpiece of a largely ceremonial three-day official visit.
