A plan to add luxury suites to the Rose Bowl has been presented to Pasadena’s Public Enterprises Committee. City officials told the committee that adding luxury boxes on the rim of the stadium could generate more income. Ed Aghjayan, the city’s deputy city manager, said the lack of luxury boxes at the Rose Bowl was one of the reasons Pasadena lost its bid to host the 1991 Super Bowl.
