Santa Ana Firm Focusing on Apple Computers

In an effort to cash in on the success of Apple Computer’s Macintosh systems, Micro D of Santa Ana has formed a new division to focus exclusively on the Macintosh and other Apple computers.
Micro D, a leading distributor of computers and related products, said the new division represents a “major sales and marketing expansion.” The company provided no details about how the expansion will affect employment.
The division will focus on hardware, software and accessories for the Macintosh and other Apple computers. Micro D said software that operates on Apple computers accounts for 13% of its total software sales.
