Wounded Man Crashes His Car Into Hospital

KANSAS CITY — A man shot three times drove his car through the glass doors of a hospital emergency room early Sunday in an attempt to get help, authorities said.
No one was injured when Robert P. Roth, 42, drove through the doors at Providence-St. Margaret’s Hospital, officials said. Roth, who was shot during a disturbance at a motel, was listed in serious but stable condition with gunshot wounds in the face and pelvis.
