2 Agoura Runners Extend Win Streaks

Bryan Dameworth and Deena Drossin of Agoura High each won their sixth consecutive cross-country race at the Fountain Valley-Huntington Beach Invitational on Saturday.
Dameworth, a sophomore, clocked 15 minutes, 25 seconds over the three-mile course at Central Park in Huntington Beach.
Abe Valdez’s second-place finish (15:37) led Camarillo to the Division II team title. The Scorpions scored 54 points. Agoura (83) and Huntington Beach (105) placed second and third.
Drossin, a freshman, finished first in 18:17 and freshman teammate Tiffany York (18:43) placed second in the Division II girls race to lead Agoura (35 points) to victory.
