Sky Diver Killed as Chute Fails in Jump From Bridge

FAYETTEVILLE, W. Va. — A sky diver taking part in an annual jump from the 876-foot-high New River Gorge Bridge was killed Saturday when his parachute failed to open, officials said. Steven Gyrsting, 25, of Paoli, Pa., is the third sky diver to die in a jump from the bridge, the officials said.
