Job Placement Service Receives Grant

PASADENA — The Placement Service for Older Workers has received a $3,000 grant from the Los Angeles Women’s Foundation to provide free job search and placement services to older displaced homemakers. The placement service helps people 40 and older who have lost their main source of income through the death, disability or long-term unemployment of a spouse or through divorce or separation. The service is located at 541 E. Colorado Blvd.
