Fox Broadcasting Co. will rearrange its Saturday and Sunday prime-time lineups beginning Oct. 24 and 25.
Fox spokesmen said the changes were made to take better advantage of some strong shows that will now be early evening lead-ins, as well as to place shows that appeal to the same audience together in blocks on the schedule.
Saturday night’s new lineup features “Mr. President” at 8 p.m., “Women in Prison” at 8:30, “The New Adventures of Beans Baxter” at 9 and “Second Chance” at 9:30. The present schedule has “Werewolf” at 8, “Beans Baxter” at 8:30, “Second Chance” at 9 and “Duet” at 9:30.
Sunday’s new lineup begins with “21 Jump Street” at 7 p.m., followed by “Werewolf” at 8, “Married . . . With Children” at 8:30, “The Tracey Ullman Show” at 9 and “Duet” at 9:30 p.m.
