Jurors Picked for Trial in Fatal Pit Bull Attack

DAYTON, Ohio — Jury selection began Monday for the involuntary manslaughter trial of two people whose pit bull dogs killed a retired doctor last April. Joetta Darmstadter, 32, and Wilbur Rutledge, 34, could get maximum sentences of 10 years in prison if they are convicted in the attack on Dr. William G. Eckman, 67, of Kettering.
