Servite Tops St. Paul in Cross-Country

Steve Hoffheinz set a course record to lead Servite to a 20-39 victory over St. Paul in an Angeles League cross-country meet at Ralph D. Clark Regional Park in Fullerton.
Hoffheinz, a senior, covered the hilly three-mile course in 16 minutes 33 seconds.
Hoffheinz was followed by teammates Steve Bishop (second, 17:14), Norman Chavez (third, 17:16), Mike Metzen (sixth, 17:42), Scott Lauritzen (eighth, 17:49), David Thomas (ninth 18:26) and Chris Nava (10th, 19:02).
