A grand jury in Kankakee, Ill., returned a 13-count indictment charging two suspects in the kidnaping and slaying of former media executive Stephen B. Small. Daniel J. Edwards, 30, and Nancy D. Rish, 25, both of Bourbonnais, Ill., entered pleas of innocent to the charges at their arraignment before Circuit Judge John Michela. Both were ordered returned to the county jail, where they have been held since their arrest in the bizarre case early last month.
