The American Red Cross has set up seven emergency centers:
Whittier: Community Center, 7630 S. Washington Ave.
Whittier: California High School, 9800 Mills Ave.
Alhambra: Joslyn Center, 200 N. Chapel Street.
Monterey Park: Elder Community Center, 1950 Wilcox Ave.
Montebello: Schurr High School, 840 Wilcox Ave.
Los Angeles: Hollywood High School, 1521 N. Highland Ave.
Los Angeles: Garfield High School, 5101 E. 6th Street.
The Red Cross also set up an earthquake crisis hotline, (213) 739-4543.
