WASHINGTON — Floorboards that could accidentally dislodge from portable cribs sold by Sears are being replaced by the manufacturer, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday.
About 14,500 of the portable cribs, which have an adjustable floorboard that allows them to also serve as a changing table, were sold between March 1 and Dec. 14 of last year, the agency said.
Cribs affected are Sears models 29-30691 (maple stain) and 293-0692 (varnish finish), which sold for about $70.
