Agency on AIDS Opens in Pomona

POMONA — The Foothill AIDS Project, a nonprofit community agency, has opened at 1255 N. Park Ave. to provide support for AIDS patients, to educate people who are at high risk of contracting the disease and to operate a speakers’ bureau.
The agency will serve the San Gabriel Valley and San Bernardino County. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The phone number is (714) 620-0359.
