West Hollywood : 5 Take Out Nomination Papers
- Share via
Rent Stabilization Commissioner Ruth Williams and discotheque owner and fund-raiser Gene LaPietra are among five prospective candidates who have taken out nominating papers for the Nov. 4 special City Council election in West Hollywood.
Actor Jeff Cole, teacher John W. Van Dourig and C. Kernan Rockefeller Jr. also have taken out nominating papers since the filing period opened July 14. Candidates who take out papers will be eligible to file until Aug. 8.
Williams and Cole ran in the city’s April 8 council election when incumbents Stephen Schulte, John Heilman and Helen Albert all were reelected to four-year terms.
The Nov. 4 special election will fill the vacancy created in May by the resignation of Valerie Terrigno, who was convicted on federal embezzlement charges.
