Drug Abuse Not Just a Sports Problem

I am outraged at the comments made by William George in Viewpoint (July 12). He stated that Len Bias and Don Rogers were “uneducated jerks who achieved their just rewards.” Drugs are a universal problem that affect many of our heroes, well-respected businessmen, and, more importantly, our own families.

Instead of making ignorant remarks, this “uneducated jerk” should count his blessings and pray that this tragedy doesn’t befall a member of his own family.
