May I commend you for featuring the hard work and dedication of people who have come to our country from other lands; resulting in this case in their graduation from Hollywood High Adult School.
Responsible, realistic reporting by the media--projecting positive images that are absorbed by the public--helps dispel myths and fears about our new neighbors that often lead to tensions, resentments and violence.
The media are powerful in their ability to enhance good human relations through realistic images of the variety of people among us.
Please keep covering, and featuring these kinds of stories. Such balanced and responsible reporting will benefit Los Angeles County and all of us, personally. Thank you.
