RJR Nabisco said its net income for the second quarter ended June 30 increased 21% on a 55% surge in revenue. The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based company attributed the improved results to gains in its two key lines of business: tobacco and food and beverages. Food and beverage gains included the results of Nabisco Brands, acquired during the third quarter of 1985.
