General Picked as Chief of National Guard Bureau

WASHINGTON — Maj. Gen. Herbert R. Temple Jr. has been nominated to receive his third star along with a promotion to become the next chief of the National Guard Bureau, the Pentagon announced. Temple currently is director of the Army National Guard.
