Marquette Beats Long Beach, 60-48

MILWAUKEE — Kerry Trotter scored 16 points to lead Marquette to a 60-48 victory over Cal State Long Beach in the championship game of the Milwaukee tournament Saturday night.

The second half was marred by a bench-clearing brawl in which both teams had to be restrained by referees and coaches. Marquette center Tom Copa, who was not in the game at the time, was called for a flagrant foul and ejected.

Marquette is 6-3. Long Beach, led by Morlon Wiley’s 11 points, is 4-7.
