Three Named to RISC Board

Three new board members have been elected to the Regional Institute of Southern California, established in 1983 to study and create a more conducive environment for entrepreneurial growth.
They are Glen T. Sakai, president of Pacific Partners; Henry Wedaa, councilman, city of Yorba Linda, and Albert D. Wheelon, senior vice president, Hughes Aircraft Co. Don Gevirtz, chairman and chief executive officer of the Foothill Group, Beverly Hills, is RISC chairman.
The primary focus of the institute is to involve the private sector in the safe disposal of hazardous wastes; assure economic growth of the region; meet air quality standards; reduce congestion through telecommunications, and educate tomorrow’s work force.
