A San Bernardino man who spent 20 years in prison after his 1965 conviction as Denver’s “Phantom Rapist” has pleaded innocent to raping two women last month in San Bernardino and Rialto. Francis LaBlanc, 43, entered his plea in San Bernardino Superior Court to charges of rape, residential robbery and first-degree burglary in connection with the attacks.
