Whittaker Elects Alibrandi Chairman

Joseph F. Alibrandi has been elected chairman of Whittaker Corp., a position that has been vacant since the retirement of Eaton W. Ballard in 1982. Alibrandi, 56, will retain the title of chief executive.
Alibrandi joined Whittaker in 1970 as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He became president and chief executive in 1974.
