Church’s Fried Chicken will close 100 outlets.

Most of the restaurants to be closed are located in 10 markets that Church’s is abandoning in the Midwest and Northeast because they are too remote from other company operations. But the chain also is closing some unprofitable operations elsewhere, including six in Southern California and three in Northern California.
