CBS WILL DELAY SCHEDULE CHANGE

CBS-TV, which had been expected to announce changes in its prime-time program schedule before Christmas, now won’t be making any announcement until after the holiday, a spokesman said Monday.
“They’re still looking at programs,” he said, adding that CBS’ mid-season changes could be announced next Monday or after New Year’s Day.
CBS, now second in prime-time ratings after six successive seasons in first place, is the only network that hasn’t yet made public its mid-season program changes. Third-place ABC and first-placed NBC announced theirs earlier this month.
