Housing Project Approved: The City Council last week approved plans for a residential development consisting of 36 single-family homes to be located on Segerstrom Avenue between Greenville and Raitt streets. The two-story houses are to be built on a vacant lot by J. M. Peters Co., and prices will range from $170,000 to $195,000. Construction, which will be confined to the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., is expected to get under way in the spring and take about eight months to complete. The project will contain three- and four-bedroom houses with two baths and two-car garages on a 6.26-acre site.
