Trojan Women Play Oregon St. Today

The USC women’s basketball team (7-1) will play host to Oregon State today at 4:30 p.m. in the Sports Arena.

The Beavers (3-6) are coming off a 112-81 loss Friday night to Cal State Long Beach. They are considered a defense-oriented team and are excellent rebounders.

The Beavers are led by 6-1 sophomore forward Debbie Dalluge, who is averaging 19.3 points and 8.8 rebounds a game.

The third-ranked Trojans are led by Cheryl Miller (26.6, 11.4) and Cynthia Cooper (17.6, 4.1).

This is their final game before the Transamerica-USC basketball tournament Dec. 27-28, when No. 2 Georgia (9-0), No. 20 North Carolina (6-1) and unranked Missouri (5-2) come to town.
