Toxic Waste Problem

I’m remiss in not writing sooner to convey my congratulations to Ruth Ryon for her recent articles on toxic waste. It’s good to see the section expanding its coverage of the real estate industry to include such topical issues.
I found the topic doubly interesting because of two recent industrial transactions Grubb & Ellis was handling that were delayed during escrow because of possible toxic contamination of the soil surrounding the structures. It’s posing a new type of problem for brokers.
