A pedestrian was injured Friday when she was struck by a car while crossing an intersection, police said Saturday.
Josie Luna, 54, of Santa Ana was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, where she was listed in serious condition, authorities said.
Luna was walking eastbound along 22nd Street and crossing Orange Avenue when she was struck by a car driven by Cotta Jane Moser, 59, of Costa Mesa, who was southbound on Orange, Police Lt. Tom Durham said.
The intersection is controlled by stop signs, he said. The driver was not cited, but Durham said an investigation is continuing.
