Wilshire-Fairfax : Bus Added to Trolley Service

A second bus has been added to the city’s Fairfax Trolley service, according to a spokeswoman for Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky.
The bus, with a fare of 25 cents, follows a route that includes portions of 3rd Street, Robertson, Beverly and San Vicente Boulevards and Melrose and Fairfax Avenues. RTD passes for senior citizens and the handicapped are accepted.
With the addition of the second bus, service will be available at 15-minute intervals. Funding for the project comes from a county sales tax allocated for transportation.
