Micro General Corp. said it received a $4.6-million order for computerized parcel shipping systems from Postmasters Systems of Tampa, Fla.
Irvine-based Micro General said the equipment will be delivered during the next six months.
If Postmasters’ growth plans proceed as expected, Micro General said it anticipates signing agreements with the company for between $13 million and $25 million in additional orders during the next three years.
In 1984, Micro General reported revenue of $3.4 million; the company said it expects 1985 revenue to be about $4.3 million.
In addition to computer-based parcel shipping systems, Micro General also makes postal scales. Postmasters is a parcel shipping company that serves the southeast but plans to expand nationwide.
