Maynell Thomas has been named executive vice president at Carson Productions, Los Angeles, which produces “The Tonight Show” and handles related business for host Johnny Carson. Thomas will handle television and theatrical business affairs, finance, administration and legal affairs.
In another development, Carson Productions named Arnold M. Glassberg to the newly created post of vice president and chief financial officer. He had been vice president and controller for Embassy Television, Tandem Productions and Tandem Communications.
