Board to Act on All-Year School

The Los Angeles school board will vote on year-round school and other possible solutions to overcrowding at its regular board meeting Jan. 6, district spokesman Bill Bolton said today. The board had planned to act on 22 guidelines and 15 options relating to school crowding next Monday, but that meeting was canceled because of the death of board member Roberta Weintraub’s son in a weekend auto accident.
