Nominations of four federal court judges were confirmed by the U.S. Senate in its pre-adjournment clearing of the calendar. Judges John Noonan and David Thompson were confirmed to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and Dickran M. Tevizian Jr. and J. Spencer Letts were confirmed as judges of the U.S. Central District of California.
