Library System Busy: From Dostoevski to videos featuring Donald Duck, the Orange County Library system loaned out some 6.4 million items last year, according to a recently released report. There are more than 1.5 million books in the county’s 25 branch libraries, located in 17 cities throughout the county. More facts on the county library system are available through a fact sheet available at the county Public Information Office, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, or at any branch library.
