Passenger Traffic Up in November for AirCal

AirCal, the Newport Beach-based airline, Wednesday reported that November passenger traffic was 9.4% higher than a year ago.
For the month, traditionally one of the biggest for air travel, the airline logged nearly 148 million passenger miles, compared with 135 million a year earlier. A passenger mile is one paying passenger carried one mile. A total of 359,827 passengers boarded in the month, 3.5% more than the 347,703 last year.
For the first 11 months of the year, the airline said traffic increased 19% to 1.7 billion passenger miles, compared with 1.4 billion last year. Boardings increased 11.4% to 4.1 million passengers from 3.6 million in 1984.
