Golden West Routs Glendale

Freshman forward Stacy Barnes had 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead Golden West College to an 85-61 win over Glendale in a nonconference women’s basketball game Tuesday night in Huntington Beach.
Barnes led five players in double figures as the Rustlers improved their record to 6-1. Karen Chase had 16 points and Kim Abeyta 15 for Golden West. Glendale (0-7) got 16 points from Stacey Robertson.
GLENDALE (61)--Sian 11, Isaac 2, Sullivan 13, Seville 3, Green 11, Robertson 16, Jover 2, Ward 4.
GOLDEN WEST (85)--Chase 16, Abeyta 15, Beer 10, Storer 10, Aman 8, Barnes 26.
Halftime--Golden West, 38-18.
