Local News in Brief : Slain Man Dumped in Sun Valley Lot

The body of a man who had been shot to death was found Monday morning in a parking lot in Sun Valley, Los Angeles police said.
The victim, described as about 25 years old, was dumped behind a group of stores in the 8200 block of Sunland Boulevard, Detective Howard Landgren said. Police would not release the name of the victim pending notification of his family.
The body, which had several bullet wounds, was discovered about 8 a.m. by a businessman arriving at work, Landgren said.
