Gerry Faust, the former Notre Dame football coach, said Youngstown State University is one of four schools he is considering for his next coaching job.
Youngstown Athletic Director Joe Malmisur said Faust was impressed with the school’s athletic facilities and its potential for a successful football team.
Faust also has been mentioned as a possible candidate for coaching jobs at Memphis State and Mississippi State.
